I have a problem with your use of "strong". It is often confused with domineering, IMO. There are many examples of strong women now and in history, but they don't often wish to parade themselves in public telling other people what to do.

Mother Teresa was one such.

Mother Teresa  was not a friend of the poor. She was a friend of poverty.

She said that suffering was a gift from God.

She spent her life opposing the only known cure for poverty, which is the empowerment of women and the emancipation of them from a livestock version of compulsory reproduction.

All of which is a completely irrelevant diversion from what I was talking about, which is "strong" women. Nothing to do with friendship, poverty or otherwise.

Nice try but no cigar, as they say.
