The Blacklist season 9 has been given the go-ahead by NBC.

 

Reported by The Wrap, this news arrives during the airing of its eighth season, which was heavily delayed by the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

 

For fans of James Spader's central character Raymond 'Red' Reddington, this Friday's (January 29) instalment is set to be unmissable.

 

Previously teasing what's to come throughout season 8, show creator Jon Bokenkamp shared: "It's interesting, after seven years I think that one of the most important people in Liz's life is Ressler. They really do care about each other – and, after all they've been through as partners, how could they not?

Never liked Spader in all of the movies he made, but I genuinely like this series and his character. He has landed the perfect role.

my thai wife loves this series .. so i dug out an old movie stargate and showed her spader in his youth ..
