PHUKET: Police have shelved an investigation into the body of a woman found lodged in a pipe at a waterway behind Tha Reua Shrine just south of the Heroines Monument nearly a year ago due to lack of leads.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain will place travellers arriving from COVID-19 hot spots in quarantine in hotels from Feb. 15, the government said, after criticism that it was not moving fast enough to bring in the measure.

Thailand’s Royal Forest Department lodged a complaint with the Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Division (NRECD) on Thursday, accusing three Juangroongruangkit family members of illegal possession of more than 320 hectares of land in national forest reserves in the central province of Ratchaburi.

No coronavirus contamination was found in 117 seafood samples taken from markets in Bangkok and other provinces between November 2020 to January 2021, according to the department of medical sciences at the Public Health Ministry.

(Reuters) - Teachers in Myanmar on Friday became the latest group to join a civil disobedience campaign with some lecturers refusing to work or cooperate with authorities in protest against the military's seizure of power.The civil disobedience campaign started among medical workers soon after Monday's coup but has since spread to include students, youth groups and some workers in both the state and private sectors.
