It ceases to amaze me that there seems to be little or no co-ordination between Thai Authorities. The Government talks about wanting to make Thailand the 'Kitchen of the World' & 'The Tourist Capital' of Asia. Sounds great... heallth seminars are held and The Health Ministry from Chonburi even offers kits for sale, so that we can test foodstuff being supplied to our establishments. A phone number is even supplied so that we can report any anomalies.

When we found traces of Bromaide and Formalin in our meats and reported, it as directed, with the name of the suplier, the reply we got was....' What do you want us to do about it'.

After all this fuss, I would have thought that the action to take would have been obvious or at least predifined....or could they have forgottten to tell us that punitive action excludes suppliers who are relatives and friends.

Are there any doctors or experts on this matter who can enlighten us on this matter and what the long term effects would be as this could be more widespread that anticipated.
