Who's Bangkok hospital or Bumrungrad in headache treamtment

Featured Replies

Hello,

i do not want to take a lot of time for you

but i had problems and suffered from headache around 3-4 years now

i seek treatment in some different countries but i got no positive treatment out of it until one of my friends told me to try one of those hospitals i mentioned in title

so i would like to take your advice which on is better in headache treatment and if you have any idea the avg. cost for both i would be thankful

best regards,

Doctors treat medical conditions - hospitals just provide the space/equipment/testing.  So you might well obtain just as good treatment at any hospital depending on the doctor and testing requirements.

As for the two mentioned hospitals they are at the top end of private hospital price range for Thailand (a normal doctor visit will likely run 2 to 3 thousand baht without any testing/medications.  They both have some of the best doctors - but not all are of that quality and from your post it is not clear what type of treatment you have received or doctor you require (problems often cause headaches).

thanks for your reply Mr.lopburi3 the problem with the treatment is that i still dont know what causes headache and im trying to figure it out but unfortunately i still dont know the reason,,

1. Headache clinic at Bangkok Hospital    https://www.bangkokhospital.com/index.php/en/center-of-excellence/brain/brainclonic-5

2. Prof. Anan Srikiathachorn BNH Hospital Wednesdays 5-6 PM only. he is an Assoc Professor at Chulalonghorn (leading medical school) and heads up their headache clinic. https://www.bnhhospital.com/find-doctor/search-result/?dname=Anan Srikiatkhachorn

3. Assoc. Prof Nijasri Charnnarong Modays & Fridays Bumrungrad 4- 6 PM Same affiliation as Dr Anan above  https://www.bumrungrad.com/doctors/Nijasri-Charnnarong

cost will depend entirely on what sort of tests and teratments are considered necessary. Consultation alone, about 1,800 - 2,000 baht inclusive if doctor fee and hospital mcharge

Bumrungrad is definitely headache. ????

Have you visited a dentist? Do you have gold and amalgam in your mouth? That is one possible reason for headache.

Hi thx for sharing and no honestly i didnt visit a dentist yet i will visit one though ,, it seems i will be headed to bumrungrad ^_^

I get chronic headaches from neck tension from an old injury and get it treated at Bumrungrad's Physical therapy. Treatment is effective (dry needling) but only lasts about 2 weeks. Cost is about 3600 baht each time.

Do you know the cause? If not you'll probably have to see a headache specialist or neurologist first.
