BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's headline consumer price index in February dropped a bigger than expected 1.17% from a year ago due to lower food prices and government measures to curb living costs, particularly utility bills, the commerce ministry said.

(Reuters) - Police in Myanmar on Friday opened fired on protesters against last month's military coup, killing one man, as international condemnation rained down on the junta, with the U.N. Security Council set to discuss the crisis.

SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Despite a high-profile visit to China by a team of international experts in January, the world is no closer to knowing the origins of COVID-19, according to one of the authors of an open letter calling for a new investigation into the pandemic.

Dr Seuss rockets up US charts after books pulled over racist portrayals

US customers have flocked to buy copies of Dr Seuss titles after six of the children’s author’s books were withdrawn because of racist portrayals of people of colour.

Banksy confirms he's behind new 'escaping inmate' street art on side of prison
