As we’ve all been locked down in our homes in recent weeks, the need for a continuous roll of incredible films to watch is ever-imposing.

Still, with lockdown measures looking to slowly come to an end with the vaccine rollout, there’s a sense of gobbling up all the time at home you have left.

It has left us asking for film recommendations from everyone we speak to and, luckily, we’ve also been given a tip-off from a legendary director as Quentin Tarantino lays down 12 of the greatest films of all time.

All mainstream movies are propaganda and, yes, I dont watch them.

And my favored movie makers are Jess Franco and Joe D'Amato.

Of course being normal guy I feed myself healthy dose from porno sites.

I believe this may well be the very first time in the modern history of mankind someone felt compelled to include porn in a mention of "greatest films of all time".

???? And it had to happen on this forum.

The 12 greatest according to Tarantino, which doesn't mean they are the greatest.

IMO the greatest films are the ones one wants to watch again and again, which means my top 12 would be completely different from his.

My favourite films generally don't involve people killing other people or being bad. The exception would be "The Cruel Sea" which is excellent in every category, and the focus of the film isn't about killing, except in one tragic scene where innocent people are killed as they are in the path of the ship when hunting a submarine.

There are thousands of great films that will never win a prize or feature in a list of great films, but still leave one with a sense of loss when over. At least with my collection of DVDs I am able to watch them again and again, without needing an internet connection.
