Thailand News, where to find on this forum?

There are some major events taking place in Thailand, but they seem to go completely unreported on this Forum. If one wants an update on  any (serious) Thai news  stories then best to look at the overseas media, Thai social media, or even the  BP. 

This Forum used to be a pretty good place to find a handy News summary   and (where allowed/appropriate) comment on significant events going on in the country. I remember well a time when Thai Visa was the  place to go to in the morning for updates on the major stories of the last 24 hours. 

This no longer seems to be the case. I hardly bother to look at the Thai News section anymore , it is just full of mush! with important and highly significant events just completely unreported. 

I presume those with some responsibility for this site realize that its credibility as a source of relevant info for expats living in Thailand is being eroded.
