Once again it is rain season and as it is, mold of all species are enjoying the moisture and warmth. I went to a restaurant the other day (a nice restaurant) and noticed the toothpicks were turning black as I examined them closer I noticed black mold. I didn't have the idea to make a post about this topic however when I went outside this morning and I noticed my wifes house shoes had black mold growing on them. Black mold is really bad stuff, deadly in many cases. I just wanted to point this out so people are aware of it. If you search "black mold" on the web it will return many links and information to many to list here.

I do quite a bit a work with indoor air quality issues (radon, mold etc), and I have to say all the talk of deadly black mold is so blown out of proportion. Not all black mold is the bad mold (stachybotrys). Even then you are either going to have to have a depressed immune system or be overloaded with the mold to be affected much by it.
