New TAT Video to Attract Foreign Tourists

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) as broadcast its latest TV commercial “Wait No More” in foreign countries under the concept of “Amazing Moments, Amazing Thailand”.

 

The 30-second video aims to promote Thailand as a top travel destination for foreign tourists who have been waiting to escape the stressful health situation in their home countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The video portrays Thailand’s “amazingness" from dawn till dusk, from underwater to the sky, from the calmest moments to the most exciting ones, and the range of delicious Thai cuisine from street food to local Michelin Star restaurants.

 

The video is available online at https://youtube/9ScbUCXAOZY. Hashtagged with #ToBeConinued, will also offer more of this video series.

"Wait no more*"

 

*Tourists will have to wait 7-14 days, depending on vaccination status and destination, in a government approved hotel where they will be confined to their room until the wait is over, before being allowed to wait no more.

You and a guest will fly to beautiful Thailand for 10 sun kissed days (7 days if you are vaccinated), enjoying the views, the sun (from your balcony), and tropical breezes (if you open your *window), all while never having to leave the comfort of your hotel room. Yeah, I know, I keep trotting this post out. And yeah I know Phuket and other places will offer more freedom of movement to vaccinated tourists. But for real, does anyone really believe tourism levels will ever normalize until the quarantine requirement is lifted?

if the world follows the UK's lead there won't be any tourists until Thailand is fully vaccinated..

 

and if they don't hurry up they'll be needing boosters before they've even got their first doses in!

"Wait no more"... than a mere 7 to 10 days locked up in a hotel room at your dream destination -- after which your 14-day holiday that you were able to wrestle from your boss will be pretty much used up.
