Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob is confirmed to be infected with COVID-19, after he developed a fever of 38oC and was admitted to Buri Ram Hospital for observation and tests on Wednesday morning.

The minister has already received his first inoculation against COVID-19 and is due to receive the second dose today.

Saksayam earlier denied a rumour that he had visited an entertainment venue in Bangkok’s Thonglor area on March 25th, but one of his staff, who visited a Thonglor pub, has tested positive for the virus, prompting him to order the rest of his staff to go for COVID tests and to isolate for 14 days, including himself, as a safety precaution.

TIT, blame the staff!

He's obviously not that sick as he still is able to scheme excuses for where he caught covid!
