Can a Thai National Re-enter Thailand on expired passport?

As has been said one can enter on an expired Thai passport. Note that if you enter on a Thai expired passport one must also leave on a Thai passport. So one needs to get a new Thai passport in order to leave. Easy to do, provided one is still registered in a tabien baan.
