Motorbike Thieves Captured with Bike and Gun

The police were out at a checkpoint in the morning of 16th May and found two suspicious men on a Honda Wave motorbike so stopped them and made a search.

When 16 year old A and 20 year old Suntorn were searched; a gun was found, which led to more investigation back at Banglamung Police Station where it was found that the motorbike was reported stolen from Family Park Village since 11th May.

A then confessed to the police that he stole the bike. He was taking his friend; Suntorn home at Huay Yai area when he was stopped by the police. As for the gun, A stated that he only had it for protection since he has a lot of enemies.

Further proceedings will be made on this boy and the police will also investigate with other police stations if he is wanted for anything else or not?

Yeah - first of all there's the guys he stole mo'bikes from.

They would surely be a trifle pissed at him.

Where do these muppets get their excuses from - is there a Thai school textbook on how to appear really, really stoooopid when stopped by the police?
