Where can you buy rice wine in TH? I see it used in so many Thai recipes but I can't find it anywhere.

 

Maybe it's because I can't read Thai and the bottles are right there in the supermarket!

I don't think I've ever seen a Thai recipe using rice wine (sato).  Are you possibly getting confused with rice vinegar, which is widely used?

your local fresh market will have it

in the shops that sells all the spices and stuff, will come from china.

 

 

also in lotus, but it's in the alcohol section.

but twice the price of the local markets.
