Ear clinic

Featured Replies

Hello! I have this “ringing” effect in my left ear for a year now and I am so irritated. Let me ask you if you have any recommendations which ear clinics or hospital is the best yet inexpensive. Preferably Bangkok or samutprakan. Estimate budget for it? Thank you!

Consultation will cost about 2,000 baht inclusive of hospital fee

Do not buy medicines at the hospital. If any are needed, buy yourself at an outside pharmacy

Cheaper alternative would be to see her at Chulalongkorn Hospital through their after hours clinic but you will have to go in person to make the appointment (13th floor of the OPD building from about 3:30 PM. Register downstairs first for a patient number. Best to have a Thai speaker with you). There may be a waiting list.

I suggest you read up on this condition here:

First step is to find out if underlying hearing loss is a factor and treat it if so. If no hearing loss was present, or if addressing it does not help enough, and assuming no other treatable cause is found, you might like to try accupuncture. For which I recommend the Chinese Medicine Clinic at St Louis hospital https://en.saintlouis.or.th/m/Chinese_Medicine_Clinic

Which hospital did you call, Chula or Bumrungrad?

It is possible she has retired from Govt service and thus no longer at Chula.

She is at Bumrungrad every day. Can make appointment onlinr
