Large Hi-Low Gambling Den Found by Pattaya Police Chief

At 9 pm on 20th May Pattaya Police Chief; Pol. Col. Suthin Sappuang and his team investigated and found that at a house at Soi 8,

Jomtien Beach there was a large Hi-Low gambling den; therefore organized 20 police officials ready to surround the house and make arrests.

There were many cars and motorbikes parked in front of the 3 storey townhouse when the team arrived.

When they entered the team found many men and women inside gambling. The gamblers ran for it and the police were able to capture 24 people with gambling evidence and 1,930 Baht, which was on the floor.

Pattaya Police Chief Suthin stated that this gambling den is part of a large group that runs between Sattahip and Pattaya. They never stay at the same location. Mr. Thitiwat Iampetch, aged 41, is the organizer of calling all gamblers together and notifying them of the next location.

Most gamblers are from Rayong and Sattahip. The amount of money gambled each time is between; 100,000 – 1,000,000 Baht.
