My ex partner was perfectly acceptable without makeup, but refused to go out without putting on her face. I couldn't really tell the difference when she'd finished. However, I once stayed in a Pattaya hotel that had a bar/ bargirls downstairs. According to some that knew about a certain one of them, in the morning without makeup she was decidedly less attractive than the night before with makeup.
