And, of course, there is a single country is the list whose data would be reliable - Singapore. All the others are various levels of useless. The rest of SEA does not have the capacity to produce reasonably accurate statistics. And, neither are they motivated to be transparent.

the numbers are clear enough, the trend is upward. How is that misleading?
 

Fortunately the clear upward trend is not exponential, so the current restrictions and whack a mole tactics are working to an extent. But not enough to produce a downward trend, as yet. Hopefully we will see that day soon. 
 

Currently though  the numbers show a clear upward trend. Unless from that chart you can say that they are downward or stable?

"duh" and you still got it wrong?  One case a day, or 1000 a day is a flat line. His graph was increasing cases/day, increasing rate. Here is his graph with a two week average to smooth out the confusing bumps.

Places that said they have not recieved enough vaccines so they have to delay vaccination include; Lampang province, hospitals in the Bangpakok and Piyavate chain, Chiangmai Ram Hospital and Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai and Thammasat's field hospital

- 1,306 were found at medical facilities

- 1,085 via pro-active tests at known clusters

- 189 via pro-active tests at 13 prisons

- 51 imported cases

Of the 2,391 local cases (excluding the cases in prisons and imported cases), the highest numbers by province were 824 in Bangkok followed by 460 in Pathum Thani (mostly at a chicken meat processing factory), 202 in Samut Prakan and 198 in Phetchaburi.

BANGKOK, June 4 (TNA) – Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul received the first lot of 1.8 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca.

 

Dr Kiattiphum Wongrajit, permanent secretary for public health, and Dr Opas Karnkawinpong, director-general of the Department of Disease Control, witnessed the delivery from AstraZeneca (Thailand). The lot of vaccine doses will support inoculation for general people from June 7 onwards.

 

Dr Kiattiphum said lots of COVID-19 vaccines by AstraZeneca and Sinovac would be distributed this week and about 6 million doses would be delivered to hospitals throughout this month.

I suspect it will become a long list. Certainly Udon Thani can be added, they got about 1.5% of what they expected.

 

so sad for Lampang. They got plaudits for getting such a high registration rate. What a let down.

DDC's Director Dr Opas said they are expecting to signed an ordering contract with Pfizer by next week and they are in negotiation with Johnson & Johnson. The DDC is expecting a total of 25 million doses of Pfizer and J&J vaccines.

I just received word that my vaccination appointment on 14 June has been cancelled.

 

I was number 465 on the list of a private hospital in Udon Thani and they received 55 doses. So an indefinite delay as they have no idea when they will receive any more.

Very careful wording: “first lot of 1.5 million doses” can mean they received 1.5 million doses OR some small part of an eventual 1.5 million doses that will come Real Soon Now.

we had such fantastic success with our campaign to get people to register for the vaccine, that the demand outstripped even our more than abundant vaccine supply. 
 

and, much like the last few days, the coming days will have a steady stream of news stories about millions of doses of every Covid vaccine under the sun arriving at some unspecified date in the future.

They didn't have to, they could have sent it with the other 19 million to be shared through COVAX. However Thailand is not in Covax so would not have received any that way.
