The owner of a block of flats finally ran out of patience with a tenant.

There had been complaints from everyone in the building about noise and smell from a room where the tenant kept cats.

They were told they would have to move out. But it got so bad that the owner decided to open the room with maids and discovered the filthy room.

A post on Jay Moi V Plus on Facebook posed the question:"A room or a rats' nest?"

No deposit had been charged and the owner of the flats said they had done everything to help the tenant but what they discovered was the final straw.

Out they must go.

And they decided to make a claim - not so much for the money but "because no one should live like that".

No names or locations were given in the Daily News report that relied on a convoluted and detailed post on Facebook about the relationship and interactions between the renter and the flat owner.

Likely a drug den, as I have seen a few of them when I had to clean up where some druggies were living.

If not the people or person living here is a pretty horrible person, what ever their excuse for living and leaving a place in this shape.

Geezer
