RTP deputy commander and head of the PCT or Thailand's cyber tech police Gen Damrongsak Kittipraphat announced the arrests of seven people who were running a gambling operation on the Euro 2020 football tournament.

Damrongsak said that the carckdown was ordered by RTP chief Gen Suwat Chaengyodsuk after complaints were received from parents that their children were making bets on the football.

These were done through WWW.UFABET.COM on platforms through Line Official UFA777, UFA368, UFAR1 and UBET777.

There were raids with search warrants yesterday at two places in Nonthaburi namely Prinyada Light Rama 5 housing estate and a house in Bang Yai.

Raids also took place at Lumpini View Town in Bang Khae, Bangkok and a house in Thap Tai sub-district of Hua Hin, Prachuap Khirikhan.

Arrested were Geng, 27, Bank, 28, Beam, 27, Beer, 26, and El, 27, all Thai men and two Thai women called Taengmo, 39, and Kik, 26.

They were all pictured seated in a car park flanked by officers after being taken back to Nonthaburi to face charges of running a betting operation and advertising that fact.

A total of 18 million baht in assets was made including jewelry, four cars, a gun, and cash.

There had been 200 million baht circulating in the illegal gambling operation and 1.6 million was found in the account.

The delayed tournament across many countries in Europe started last Friday and continues until the final in London on July 11th.

I know Taengmo and Kik. they told me they were so bored in Hua Hin they turned themselves in just for some excitement.

They could catch many more illegal gamblers if they wanted to, but I guess there is no money in that.

Wanna bet ?

Stupid kids. Don't they know the government is the only one with a license to gamble, and that includes holding out on the Vaccines all this time.

That's what I mean. If they raid all the gambling dens there would be no more brown envelopes

But the PM asked ever so nicely not to do it.

Well, reading these numbers,

instead of throwing them into jail,

they should offer them an alternative:

work as consultants for 20k only

and help the stumbling start-up scene in Thailand
