7-Eleven convenience stores have joined the government’s e-voucher stimulus campaign, Ying Chai Ying Dai on Thursday, with selected promotions to alleviate the economic burden from the Covid-19 outbreak.

Meanwhile, the Finance Ministry said it will revoke the budget for its own recent package if uptake does not meet targets.

The operator CP All (CPALL) said it will cut prices by up to 50 per cent on essential consumer goods, including IT products, from July to encourage household spending in the second half of the year.

And, who buys "essential consumer goods" at 7-eleven anyways? I assume they don't mean food with this. Maybe scissors and condoms?

I love the toasties; I always ask them to toast 'em a few minutes more, then they get really clispy. ????

Only thing they sell which is slightly healthy are the bananas but as they wrap the in plastic the environment gets it in the neck.

Not to mention all the free publicity. ????

The bananas are always just right and ripe, and they came down from 9 baht to 8 a while ago. ???? Perhaps they are a bit smaller or the world price came down I don't know.

I bought a new MacBook and a box of condoms at 7/11

Condoms a bit small but hey, don't need to cover the whole piece of meat.

A few minutes more ????

Must be a brick.

I've lived here that long I've stopped complaining in 7, 50 baht for a large cappuccino I can live with that made with a smile, sometimes

You mean when the highly trained  staff  manage to give it you hot  outside and cold  in the  middle, and dont forget to keep  opening up the toaster every 5  seconds to check

The only essential goods I see there are drinks with alcohol...

Thanks - I usually only go near a 7/11 to get fuel at the roadside PTT - the kids go into the 7/11 and get snacks for the ride home.

Yep it's always  a challenge to try to get the staff  to stop opening and closing the sandwich maker.

Half priced IT products they can't shift, just what the poor and hungry need- let them eat megabytes ????

I must have missed the IT section in 7/11.

If they burn one it comes out of their wages!

Couldn't get served in 7-11 other day, all of them were stood in front of their food making devices, they have never heard of multi-tasking!

A 711 near me always seems to have all the bananas the same length. Two other stores not too far away always have some bananas longer and thicker more than the other bananas on the stand and gives about 25% extra. Much more filling when it's inside of me.

Who said size doesn't matter? ????
