First off, you were never tested than and won’t be tested now.

Secondly, the Delta variant doesn’t care if you were infected before.

First off I never claimed I was tested.

Second that's what I was saying the Delta variant is just another common cold corona virus variant which have been circulating for eons. These common cold variants currently circulating are particularly nasty and devastating for millions and is particularly common this time around.

Thirdly I just saw my 80 year old mother in law having a bit of a coughing fit which is something I rarely see.

Isn't it entirely possible that you had a cold then, and have a cold now? Either that or allergies!

It is entirely possible in fact I'm certain of it since they are both corona viruses and are the same thing. The flu in 1918 was a flu virus and still is, no different really apart from the number of deaths in each pandemic.I'm not saying it isn't bad I'm saying they go by the same family of viruses, one is a flu virus and one is a common cold virus.

Please. You're not saying this is the common cold are you? Sure it's in the coronavirus family but this is SARS-CoV-2 which leads to Covid-19 and which has offcially killed nearly 4,000,000 people in around 16 months and is happily mutating into entirely new strains.

seem to remember someone on here poo pooing me for mentioning 320 doctors in Indonesia being infected after both sinovac jabs !

The truth will be found out about that rubbish - with deaths and time

Remember the ladies volleyball team that all tested positive in May?

My wife is adamant that they had all been vaccinated.  I can't fine anything to say if they were or not but it would be strange to send them to Italy without having their jabs.

Every time I walk by a construction site, I wonder why they are still permitted to gather in large groups, eat together in close proximity, and why the same rules do not apply to them. Are the real estate developers above the law, or somehow considered more important than the rest of society? We cannot have a beer at a restaurant, yet these buildings keep going up, despite not only the lack of Covid safety protocols, but also the extreme lack of demand for them, at this time.

All flu viruses have different names but are generally referred to as the flu so I'm doing the same for this virus that's all.We all are aware of the different variants of the the flu and the devastating impact of the flu that occurs yet we still refer to it as the flu.The flu also happily mutates into different strains, so I'm just keeping in step with the precedent set by people referring to other viruses.I'm not doing something new here.

You don’t seem to understand that Covid-19 is very different from a common cold. Yes, you had a cold last year and survived and thought you had Covid, and now you think that Covid is no big deal.
