today it's 7k, 1k more than yesterday.

Within days 10k, faster than in December (as expected by "medical expert").

Welcome to Thonglor Sonkran Covid Death Party and Let's No Buy Any Vaccinations Outside of Siam Bioscience.

Huston, I can't hear you

However, lets keep inviting tourists to the sandbox because after all they have been double vaccinated and can not quite possibly test positive ....ooops.  Also TAT can now invent a Nationwide tour for those tourists to see the true devastation that this will have on the economy and lives nationwide.

Amazing.. The Government can't be blamed for Covid. However he is the sole culprit for appalling state of the vaccination campaign in Thailand. And isn't Mr. Anustin, the Minister for health, the main player in this sad game of brown envelopes.

Vaccinated countries don't seem to be doing any better!

I called that one spot on.  And here we are.

The government needs to give up its draconian control.
They need to work with moobaan leaders in villages and khet leaders in cities to mobilize volunteers and local workers on the government payroll and train these people to monitor the asymptomatic who have popped positive on a PCR.
Quarantine and monitoring - strict monitoring.  If people fail to stay in quarantine, then force them into field hospitals.
The model they use of incarcerating asymptomatic cases like they are lepers was bound to fail.  Now it has.
The UK and US allow 'patients' to recover at home.  It's time for Thailand to step up.  Concentrate the health care on those who are actually sick instead of stretching health care resource to the breaking point.
"But you can't trust Thai people."
Well, it's about time to start.  This is a new day with a new set of rules.
