Bus services on all southern routes in Thailand suspended until July 25th

Thailand’s state-run Transport Company has suspended operations on all southern bus routes, from 11pm tonight (Saturday) until July 25th, in line with the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration’s (CCSA) decision yesterday to restrict interprovincial travel, in a new bid to stem the rapid spread of COVID-19.

Surat Thani islands hit vaccine targets ahead of 15th July opening - foreigners vaxxed on Koh Phangan

Complaint filed against Bangkok beauty pageant after contestants and officials found with COVID-19

Huai Khwang district office in Bangkok has lodged a complaint with Makkasan police, accusing the organiser of the “Miss Grand Samut Sakhon 2021” pageant for holding the event on June 26th and 27th, at the Mirin Theatre RCA in Huai Khwang district, in violation of the Communicable Disease Act and restrictions announced by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).

All the restrictive measures announced by the country’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Friday, in an attempt to contain the rapid surge in COVID-19 infections in Thailand, have been published in the Royal Gazette, making them enforceable.

Thai Cabinet Members Donate Salaries to Help People Affected by COVID-19 Pandemic
