Six men and women celebrating a birthday party in a luxury Pool Villa Room at a hotel in the Ram Inthra area of Bangkok were busted yesterday. 

 

They were charged with violating the Covid-19 rules, being out when they shouldn't and engaging in prostitution, reported Sanook. 

 

After the loud music was turned off taken into evidence were:

 

5 bottles of foreign liquor

 

9 bottles of beer

 

6 bottles of soda

 

2 used packets of condoms

 

and

 

2 tubes of lubricating gel.

They were in a hotel room, I would have thought that that would be regarded as being *In* rather than being "out".

  Were the guys in or out ?

What are "used packets of condoms"?

I understand empty packets or maybe open packets. But used? Did somebody put the used items back into the package?

Its an important aspect of the story to know whether the guys had been in or out

The 5 bottles of liquor have been clarified as being of foreign origin.

 

Curious as to why the origin of the beer, soda, condoms, and lubricating gel is not mentioned.

if they were broadcasting it life and some jealous girlfriend/boyfriend or were some gangsters followed by bugged phones, gps, I don't see how police can turn up at hotel room at the private party just like that, out of blue.

Possible sleepy neighbours, but with 5% room occupancy, that is unlikely

It says in the report they rented a Luxury Pool Villa not a hotel room

Used condoms and unused lubricating gel .

 

Condoms, lube and soda as evidence of a crime? If it's a hotel it's set up for entertainment with a karaoke room.
