Sanook reported that an apparently homeless middle aged man had been attended to by a rescue foundation after collapsing in the street.

It happened outside the Mae Klong branch of the Thai Military Bank in Samut Songkhram.

The man aged about forty refused to answer questions and was taken to hospital by medics in PPE and given a swab test.

Sadly three hours later he had died and the media said that officials were awaiting the test results as to whether he had Covid-19 or not.

Several other people collapsed and died in the street in Bangkok this week with two testing positive for the virus, notes ASEAN NOW.

Possibly a link that the  homeless or the very vulnerable people are not getting tested/treated as they should and unfortunately succumb to illness in the streets.

But with the stigma attached to Covid here, I’m afraid more will die on the streets.

There was a news report on Thairath  yesterday about a man collapsing in the street  and no one would dare go near him  they showed video from a shop owner  saying he had called rescue services and tried to wave down 3 passing "ambulances" but none would stop....eventually  a crew turned up in full white PPE suits  by then the man had "recovered" somewhat and was sitting up against a concrete pole in the street..tv announcers say he reportedly drank too much coffee  became light headed and fell over and wanted to go home but  the suits whisked him away to hospital for Covid tests and in final shots  the area where he fell and sat down "decontaminated"

Very next news item was about another man falling in a klong and how heroic  delivery drivers jumped in to rescue him,  no mention of Covid !

They'll be a lot more reports on Monday.

News seems to take a nap over the weekend in Thailand.
