Not sure what's worse, the state of affairs at Bang Sue or the state of affairs at Sanook And Daily news who just report from online reports?!

Without facebook there would be no news. Much of the Thai TV News is the same..

As long as the airport extension is being built by Sino-Thai Engineering which ....... surprise surprise, happens to belong to his clan. Others are focussing on the remaining submarines and another little ray of sunshine is planning big railway projects to Rangoon where they rang the goons .......

What a hopeless circus indeed.

Panic has set into Bangkok and neighbouring provinces and Government cannot or will not deal with the consequences. Scary.

Actually - good.  Not scary at all.

Today's local Post quoted Prayut as saying that daily infections were over 10,000.  Does he really not know the real number?

BTW, who keeps the records of the GPO through which all vaccines had to be purchased?  Its books would be interesting to see.  Would it have records of the negotiations to purchase vaccines since the beginning of last year?  Does the GPO even keep records?

They want to send a man to space, but they can't even work out how to put 2m spacers on the floor to help social distancing?

Well, then the back of the line would be in Laksi. You could tell it's the Bang Sue shot line as as the Thais would end and the farangs would start at Chatuchak.

And that is the reason i just keep myself in Pattaya /Jomtien "house arrest" safe isolation ...., safer than become vaccinated in "that crowded packed to each other" situation ...  as your jab is only  effective 2 weeks later ... mean time you have much chance to attract  the virus in that crowd

I do not understand that the high risk /aged vulnerable farang , risk the travelling to  deep red Bangkok area  to mix in that ????

Wasn't like that at MedPark, last week. A bit of social distancing and good organization.

Apparently not. The prevailing mentality is either that the vaccine will confer immediate protection or, by some magical thinking, that the possibility of infection has been suspended because they are doing 'the right thing'. Either way, there are going to be a lot of people in a week or two wondering how they got sick.

So .... a total illusion from the crowd , as it need  a 2 weeks to start protecting  ... it is not like a Tylenol tablet you swallow ????

Exactly, and it's at this point I 'turn off' TVF and all other news, I can't handle it, it's so frustrating, again, these poor Thai people who have to put up with this ????

Why can we just go to any hospital in the country and just buy the vaccine?  Why do have to wait for these meansy government handouts, long lines and months of waiting and waiting?  You can go to most any qualified hospital in Thailand buy a flu, measles, mumps, hepatitis, tetanus, pneumococcal vaccine without a problem, but a Covid vaccine,... no no no you have to wait and get special permission from the clueless slowly doling it out!

",,,but a Covid vaccine,... no no no you have to wait and get special permission from the clueless slowly doling it out!"

No, they have to wait until the drug companies have produced and supplied enough vaccine.

Dont the USA and other European countries have a huge surplus of vaccines.

If we forget the lunatics need for back handers and buying the Chinese gunk for a moment.

Isnt it possible otherwise to procure enough decent vaccines for 70 million within a month get them distributed around the country and job done........if it means saving lives and stopping the thousands waiting for hospital care from increasing.

May be real logistical reasons why this is not possible as in their simply arent 70 million vaccines available right now anywhere for immediate shipment.

Depending on the temp. the vaccine is stored at determines the shelf life. If it has been delivered to a caccine site it has to be used. Idobt they have 20 million doses just lieing around to give to Thailand. It has taken a month for the vaccine Biden promised. Just not that easy.

Complete confusion and no organisation at all. Stupidity at its best.

cant they follow logic and set up centers in different areas and work by age group., the eldest, and most vulnerable first week, etc etc etc.

Same as in my place of birth , week one people born in 1940 to 45 , week 2 people born 1945 to 50 , week 3 people born 1950 to 55 etc etc  but the thing is they simply don't have enough vaccines for such a program . These numbnuts have 1 batch and tell everybody to come first come first serve . They don't know their front from their back .

On the positive side—at least they’re burning through that less than perfect SinoVac…

Thats funny.  In a sad way.  They'll all need boosters soon.
