Two Chinese fraudsters rounded up by immigration in digital currency fraud

Thailand's immigration bureau announced the arrest of two Chinese fraudsters.

 

Teng, 32, and Tong, 36, were charged were named in arrest warrants issued by the Nakhon Ratchasima court for fraud. 

 

They were using Thailand as a base to defraud their compatriots back in China.

 

They posed as "Zhong" on Facebook in a "Hybrid Scam" in connection with investment in digital currency, reported Komchadluek.

 

They both face fraud charges in the case after losses of 5.1 million baht were reported.
