Gunshots Fired Near Petrol Station

At 5.30 am on 25th May the Pattaya Police were informed that someone had fired gunshots into the air in the area of the petrol station on South Pattaya Road that was scaring the residents so requested for police assistance.

At the scene the team found 30 year old Mr. Sangkhom Yomphinit, a member of the petrol station staff. He stated that he didn’t know anything about any gunshots.

While the police were questioning him, a police volunteer opened the mattress that the man was sitting on and discovered 2 bullet shells and one bullet that hasn’t been fired. The man and the evidence were taken back to the station.

At the station Sangkhom was questioned further until he confessed that the persons who made the gunshots were 28 year old Nueng from Huay-Yai and his friend 20 year old Ruen.

They fired the gun and then fled the scene together. Apparently they were testing the gun by firing gunshots into the air.

At the moment the police are searching for them in Huay-Yai.

Test a gun by firing it in a petrol filling station?

Obviously not yet graduated from University.
