Gambling arrest leads to seizure of Yabba Tablets in South Pattaya.

Police from Pattaya made their way to Room Number 209 in an apartment complex in Soi Gopia, South Pattaya after receiving information from a Police Informant that an illegal gambling event was taking place at the location.

The information was correct and a total of 6 people, 5 women and 1 man, were caught playing cards for money which is an offence here in Thailand. 460 Baht in cash and a deck of cards were confiscated.

A routine inspection of each player was made and the only man present in the room, Khun Soontorn aged 32 was found to have 6 Yabba Tablets in his trouser pocket.

The group were taken back to Pattaya Police Station and charged with gambling. Khun Soontorn will face additional charges of possession of a class 1 drug which will require him to appear in court over the coming days.
