Why has the written content in the Pub Forum improved so dramatically and markedly, since the virus first struck?

I can't be the only one who thinks this forum is mortally wounded. I find it all to strange that most all the old time posters have vanished to be replaced with newbees so quickly. Since world news vanished it's been a downward spiral.

To be fair it did happen at the same time as the virus is changing everything.

Personally, I'm happy world news is gone and I wish it had done so about 5 years ago. In the end, I didn't post on it for reasons that I am not permitted to discuss on here.

Prior to 2020 90% of posts were Trump and Brexit, now 90% are covid and I'm getting ready to bug out too.

Please, Sir, do not bug out.

I will be happy to soon post something which is not related to Trump, Brexit, the C word, or any other tiresome topics.

Just keep your fingers crossed, because, it seems that most readers prefer topics related to the C word, these days, as you say.

IMO before corona they obsessed about Trump, and now politics is banned IMO they have decided to obsess about corona. If corona hadn't happened it would likely be about climate change, or whatever it's called now.

It's a bit sad IMO that some try to get Trump in anyway.

Can't say that I miss any of them.

Good riddance.

Corn

Correct.

We are all children of corn, these days.

Most beef we eat is corn-fed beef.

Carbonated beverages are sweetened with corn.

McDonald's franchises could not exist without corn.

Governmental agricultural subsidies promote the overproduction of corn.

Genetically modified corn is not unhealthy.

Our very collective existence depends on corn monocultures.

Corn syrup is not healthy, however.
