Who said people cannot go to work did you read the reports on their lockdown, it does not mention stopping people from going to work unless they were part of the closed businesses order.

I'll carry on believing the reports on the lockdowns they've had, thanks anyway:

"The Lao authorities have announced an easing of lockdown restrictions in provinces with no COVID-19 infections. Most businesses (including gyms/spas, sports facilities, night markets, tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping malls, retail shops and food markets) may open if COVID preventative measures are in place. These may include providing alcohol gel, face masks being worn, 1m physical distancing and checking temperatures. However, some entertainment venues remain closed and the sale of alcohol is prohibited."

I'll carry on listening to people who are there, its not a serious lockdown as 'your reports' suggest.

Vast majority of testing is at border crossing points, minimal in the community. The situation is thought to be far worse than 'reported.'  But I guess you knew that through more of your 'reports.'

As many as 3,000 Thai minors catching COVID-19 every day

Between 2,000 and 3,000 under 18 year olds are now getting infected with COVID-19 every day, compared to just 366 per week in the first three months of this year, according to Dr. Somsak Akkasilp, director general of Thailand’s Medical Services Department.

VIENTIANE, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- The Lao government has decided to extend the current nationwide lockdown to Aug. 18 as the COVID-19 cases continued to rise

But they dont take their lockdowns as serious as Brian's reports suggest.

One would certainly hope so, it maybe kicking in around about now but over the next few weeks we should be able to gauge that better.

Currently since April 1st there have been 14 deaths and 1,989 official covid community cases so a mortality rate of around 0.72%

I'm guessing that there is no accessible breakdown of how many of those who became ill were vaccinated.

Protesters, Police Clash in Thailand Vaccine Protests

Hospitals are rapidly filling up. Supplies of life-saving Favipiravir medicine and oxygen, among other things, are running low and becoming prohibitively expensive. Unemployment is rising as the lockdown takes hold, and more businesses are closing for good. Government remedies for the devastating economic impacts of the pandemic have proven inadequate.

Probably another six months of it being this desperate.

Let's hope this thing mutates into something that isn't so deadly and things can be relaxed.  It's getting brutal.

Corruption watchdog asked to investigate Pfizer vaccinations at Bhumibol Hospital

Srisuwan claims that his own investigation found that the list was printed in alphabetical order, instead of by priority, and that there are duplicate names with some names replaced by numerals. He also claimed that the hospital was allocated more vaccine doses than the number of medical personnel and that several of them have not been given their third booster jabs.

Hospital denies misallocating Pfizer jabs

The Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital defended its allocation of Pfizer vaccine to its staff Monday, after a leaked document appeared to show some duplicate names in the registration list.

The leaked document was just an unverified preliminary registration list, said Air Vice Marshal Isaraya Sukcharoen, the hospital’s director. The duplication was “just a glitch” and “came from the use of Google Forms,” she said. “Some medical personnel may have entered their name twice.”

The actual jabs were administered using a different, verified list, she said.

In the meantime I'll carry on reading reports from journalists and a selection of different media channels that confirm the same things, credibility is more important when checking facts.

This quote by the way is from the UK Gov page.

No, although they do of course know, hopefully that information will be forthcoming at some point.

Given that the air force was caught sending a letter to the Red Cross demanding Moderna for officers and families and this is the air force hospital, this is highly suspicious.

Short on vaccines, Thailand seeks to borrow from Bhutan

BANGKOK, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Thailand, a regional manufacturer of AstraZeneca's (AZN.L) coronavirus shots, is seeking to borrow 150,000 doses of the same vaccine from the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, an official said on Monday, amid a Thai supply shortage.

The request to tap vaccines from Bhutan, a country of less than 1 million people, reflects efforts to plug gaps in Thailand's chaotic vaccine rollout

Correct, talk to friends daily there and they are all going to work.

Depends what work they do, I also have some friends there with a contract at an international school in Vientiane, teaching science and maths, school closures have again been extended due to COVID and travel restrictions are still in place plus many other measures,
