One sure way of catching the virus, send them to prison:

According to protest leader@PanusayaS.

Pai Daodin, Mike Rayong both have contracted Covid-19 in jail.

Another protest leader Penguin Parit Chiwarak remains in critical condition following his infection with the disease.

Guess it is also a way of getting rid of the protestors who they do not like.

Again 30% under 60. It would be informative if they included vaccination status including type and number of jabs with these fatalities.

I can’t let that one go.

The 40% rate is for testing of close contacts and hospital walk-ins. It is not representative of the positivity rate of the general population.

There has been pro-Active testing in Pattaya over the last 10 days, with a positivity rate under 4%.

Yes, I know: there isn’t enough testing ™️

So where you think other countrys counting positivity rate!? From walk-ins and testing people who are contact to infected one! Only difference is : In other countrys everybody can walk in and get tested!

Not sure if this is old news. Thais only?

As of today, the Pfizer, AstraZenec, and Sinovac vaccines  are available. The target groups in the current phase is for:
- People 40 years old and above
- People living with any of the following underlying diseases:

This has just been tweeted by WHO Thailand, its data from the 17th Aug but shows the long way still to go for the over 60's. How did Thailand's vaccine plan get to this state leaving them out of the equation until only recently prioritizing them. Only Bangkok has 90% of over 60's vaccinated but thats just the first dose, less than 5% with the second dose.

"The graph shows the percentage of the elderly who have received either one or two doses of COVID-19 vaccine in 29 provinces designated as maximum/strict control areas. Please encourage elderly members of your family to get vaccinated as soon as the opportunity arises."

I don't get why Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai have been so astonishingly successful at preventing any serious outbreak.  I mean this is Delta we're talking about, right?

Yes many happy tourists already been  and gone with positive experiences as opposed to positive cases.

Many more will follow, especially once the restriction are relaxed even more.

The UK for one has Thailand on its amber list. No dramas over there about coming here. No quarantine required on return.

The Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday warned people against forging Covid-19 test reports in order to avail of leave or insurance, as it could be treated as a crime.

The director-general of the Department of Medical Sciences, Suphakit Sirilak, said that there had been cases of Covid-19 test report forgery.

He mentioned the case of a factory worker who wanted to avail of sick leave by claiming to be infected with Covid-19. The employer did not believe the claim and sought the test report, which the worker forged.

Ah! I knew the figures were nonsense - a large proportion are forged. So in reality they're lower. Open up now!!
