Kasikorn Bank Help; Make Extra Principle Payment on "Express Loan-Long Term"

Featured Replies

Dear Members,  I would be most grateful for your support on this banking issue which Kasikorn has not responded to several e-mail inquires.  I have been out of the country for the last couple of years and now with the Covid not sure when I will be able to return.

My wife (initially unknown to me) took out an Express Loan-Long Term loan at Kasikorn bank for 600,000 baht with automatic payment withdrawals from her savings account (where I send money to her every month).  I want to make additional "Principle" payments on-line but do not know how to do this.  The bank does not respond to my inquires on the subject.  I want to do this on-line without having my wife interacting with the bank due to covid and I will know the money will go to paying on the loan principle.

If you have experience with making such on-line loan "Principle" payments or can find out for me how to do this, I would be most grateful.

As a additional note, per my wife she was given the loan without understanding the actual interest rate.  Seems they did not tell her about the MRR portion of the total interest rate.  In any case, they appear to take advantage of those with access to money but with little education.

Thank you for your help in this matter.  SailorEd

it may be as simple as transferring funds to the account number assigned to the loan.

Thank you for your comments.  I will call next week and talk with them.
