geovalin Posted September 8, 2021 Share Posted September 8, 2021 A 50-year woman and her male partner were charged in the Kandal Provincial Court for the multiple rape of a 12-year-old girl at a house in Kandal Stung district. The girl’s mother was identified as Chean Huch, 50 and her male partner as Muong Chath also known as Tak, 47. Both work as farmers in Prek Roka commune. Chath was charged with “instigator of rape with aggravating circumstances (the status of victim) under Articles 28, 239, 341 and 289 of the Criminal Code while Huch was charged with “accomplice of rape with aggravating circumstances”. If convicted, they face seven to 15 years each. The suspects were arrested on Saturday and have been detained in prison pending trial.
