Visa To Laos..

i realize you can get a visa for laos at the border crossing at the friendship bridge, but what currency to pay for it is accepted? thai baht, usd or lao currency only?

Laos Immigration will accept Dollars or Baht ( or even most major currencies as there is a currency exchange booth there) but the exchange rate they use makes payment in dollars cheaper, for example the last time I did a visa run to Laos I paid $30 the guy in front of me paid 1500 baht.

Cheaper still if you have the time would be to get the visa in advance.
