A measurement of education (not suggesting your wife is not educated), but ‘some’ Thai’s seem brainwashed not to trust those outside their culture. 

 

Example:  After coming out of Quarantine  (and having had 3 PCR tests) a friends wife was worried that I was high risk, but she, having frequently been to markets etc and never having had a Covid-19 test presented no risk to anyone else !

 

She’s not uneducated, but I’ve never heard so much dumb S#it come from the same person with such frequency over the years (she didn’t want to vax because a friend said it was dangerous). 

 

 

Over the years in Thailand I’ve heard of far more gallactically dumb stuff from feckless fools who believe their mates than I have elsewhere (foreigners and Thai).

 

Following closely second is some of the dumb s#!t I’ve read on this forum !!! ????

No...  Bangkok is not in danger because ‘some people who have PCR tested negative’ evacuated a burning hotel...

 

The vast majority of the minimal risk those in Thailand (including Bangkok) face is from the >1000 new daily domestic cases.

Was almost certainly an ELECTRICAL fire !!! Did you see that melted wiring MESS? From my experience and electrical training [in the cinema industry in AU AND after 20+ years experience living/repairing in TH] virtually ALL wiring in older TH installations is SUB-STANDARD and dangerous !!!
