Thailand's economy should improve further in the final quarter of this year thanks to government support measures and September's relaxation of coronavirus curbs, a deputy prime minister told businessmen on Thursday.

I'm sure the unemployed and bankrupt citizens are cheering.

There is no need to quarantine the fully vaccinated nor insist they buy insurance against covid-related medical expenses. There will be no tourism while those measures are deemed necessary.

The govts of visitor nations are taking Thailand off their red lists.

It is not too late to enact the promises of lifting restrictions from 1 November. If the industry has a little time to prepare and recruit and rehearse, there could still be some revival this high season.
