Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman and IT specialist Thanee Saengrat said the gremlins were soon sorted and it was now running smoothly. He said that 13,000 foreigners had so far received CoE permission to enter Thailand in the first week of reopening until next Sunday. On the first day the number was 3,795 - 1,052 Thais and 2,743 foreign tourists. Suvarnabhumi handled 2,638, Phuket 1,153 and Don Muang had three passengers from abroad. Topping the CoE list were Germans with 1,520, US nationals 1,236, Brits 1,167, Japanese 892 and Russians 801. Top airports feeding tourists into Thailand were Doha, Singapore, Dubai, Helsinki and Abu Dhabi. Thanee told the media that the signs were good for Thailand's reopening. Popular Post ThailandRyan
Seems they should have rolled this out 2 weeks before the November 1 date if they expected the numbers to arrive they predicted. Of course it is and always will be a work in progress. Had a friend in the US try it yesterday as she wants to visit, but it kept crashing on her....hmmmm.

ThailandRyan
Sounds like they also experienced a lack of vehicles to transport the arrivals. Glad it was only 3k plus and not the 7k or 30k. God forbid it was 100k, folks would still be waiting today to get to where they needed to go for their quarantine....ugly
