Cute. Nice try. If true, it is more than I predicted last week, which was 30,000 for the month of November, and 50,000 total for "high season" in December. 

 

However, this is more government nonsense. These guys are less talented than Vanilla Ice. And getting the truth out of them is impossible, as truth is furthest away from what they are all about. If anything, they make an effort (very feebly, like everything they do) to be disinformation specialists. 

 

The fact is, they have slaughtered the Golden Goose, in an ugly, malicious, and undignified manner. And it will not be brought back to life anytime soon. The Goose is gone. Dead and buried.

Just proves me that people are not in a big hurry to find their prostitute brides or orgy partners. Have to wait a few years for the momentum to pick up when you can see drunk prostitute bride finders running from brothels to brothels in Pattaya as if the end of the world is imminent. A scene to behold. In between you can see them passing sexuial innuendo to girls in baht buses because they can't  do that in London buses.

There should be a dip around November 12, as only TP applicants will be able to enter Thailand, as the COE system will be mostly shutdown by then.

 

This week, we are seeing visitors who enrolled in the COE process last month. 

 

So, yesterday’s TP numbers will represent the top number of passengers on Nov 12, probably a lot less, since November 1 applications were probably a fraction of applications yesterday. TP is going to be a big bottleneck for Thai tourism.

So they got very few tourists coming which normally would account for over 20% of GDP. Plus of course the HUGE grey economy behind that making millions unemployed and more poor than ever.

About 50% of small shops have closed down forever and most others will slowly follow during the next months. Because no support or help for them, as funds needs to be used on railway projects etc.

 

Overall a completely destroyed economy. But still they carry on as nothing has happened and keep announcing fake numbers in relation to the economy and tourism.

 

Its amazing!!!! You would think at least they would let people have a beer to relax and forget the reality for a while…
