webfact Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) expects to have fully vaccinated the city’s population by New Year, Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang said Tuesday. So far, the BMA’s data shows 8,734,534 people have received their first dose and 7,512,946 their second. 85% of people in vulnerable groups, including those who are over 60, pregnant women and people afflicted with underlying diseases, have received their first dose and 70% are fully inoculated. Regarding foreign migrant workers residing or working in the capital, the city administration is collaborating with the Labour Ministry to provide free vaccinations every day at the Thai-Japanese youth centre in the Din Daeng area. Daft statement - I could accept 100% of the cities population that WANT to be vaccinated, not the entire 100% population 2 4

webfact Posted November 17, 2021 Author Posted November 17, 2021 Bangkok targets 90% double dose vax by end of November - 100% by New Year Daily News reported that the authorities in Bangkok want to get 90% of the population double-vaxxed by the end of this month and 100% by the New Year. Bangkok governor Gen Aswin Kwanmuang said that 100% had already been reached when one looked at the population of 7.7 million. 8.7 million have received at least one dose and 7.5 million two doses. Now they would be working with the Labour Ministry concentrating on migrant workers getting their jabs at the Thai-Japan vax center as well as more business owners and their employees. Mobile vax vehicles (BMV's) would also be utilized so that the 90% target could be achieved this month and 100% by the start of 2022. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-11-17 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates Get your business in front of millions of customers who read ASEAN NOW with an interest in Thailand every month - email [email protected] for more information 1
Gsxrnz Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Oh I see - the final solution to the question of life, the universe, and everything. Idiots that make these statements are also unaware that it's a mathematical requirement that approximately 50% of the population have a lower than average IQ, And guess which part of the distribution curve they come from. 1
Willy Wombat Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Until they vaccinate 100% of the soi dogs I won’t feel safe 1

billd766 Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 I don't believe the BMA know exactly how many people live in BKK. They will know the majority of legal residents and farangs are, but they will have little or no idea how many illegals there are or where to find them. 1
