22 million? What is he smoking?

The photo seems to show ONE farang with possibly 2 Thai family members. Extrapolate that over 100,000 arrivals and there are only a few foreign teetotalers trying to avoid a Euro/US winter.

The Americans and Europeans are already in Mexico. My brother is in Cancun and very busy there.

If we leave out the Burmese guest workers and returning expats/family, how many is it really?

Also plenty of returning Thais.

I hear that in Thailand you can take " suggestions" and predictions to bank, because it seems that every dick tom and harry are now days predicting and suggesting arrivals numbers..

The good news is that Thailand is considering using Antigen tests for all incoming instead the dreaded, costly PCR test, NOW, that will be a good step in the right direction...

It is not enough. They have to get rid of the insurance scams.

A 57 day travel Insurance policy from AXA for a 67 year-old for early next year that meets all the inbound Thai Insurance / COVID entry requirements is 4160 baht so -- other than you maybe think all insurance is a scam -- I don't see this as a make-or-break for anyone really entering as a tourist any time soon.
