Secretary of the Kla Party Attawich Suwannaphakdee went on Facebook to take aim against the Thai government for forgetting about Hua Hin and Cha-Am when it comes to the restaurant alcohol ban, reported Thai Rath

Attawich had taken to social media to promote the upcoming Hua Hin Vintage Car Rally when 50 cars will parade from December 17th to 19th.

Attawich said that no foreign tourists were coming to the resorts at all for parties or weddings due to the ban on alcohol in restaurants that persists there.

He called government thinking and action slow. With Christmas and New Year on the horizon he asked directly:

"Have the government forgotten us in the easing of lockdown?

"All I ask for is to be treated the same as Bangkok".

Health insurance plans that meet the long stay visa requirements

Exactly the same can be said for Pattaya which normally survives on tourism

Hope they sort out the Alcohol  allowed in restaurants by Christmas

As we are going to Hua Hin for a week or two ????

I think it's going to be a dry Christmas in Hua Hin this year, unless you buy and sup at home.

I think a kind of reverse 'Hanlons Razor' applies here.

Lets call it Somchais Razor : "Never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by malice" ????????????

Hotel's can serve alcohol and most high end resorts have excellent restaurants.

We had dinner at a 5 star hotel and for an extra 900 baht we were offered free flowing wine or beer.

I'm assuming that this would apply to other hotels as well.

Other than that enjoy a nice meal and grab a few drinks and enjoy it on the balcony of your hotel with a few friends.

Such diplomacy. How about draconian? How about fear mongering? The highly selective nature of these bizarre shutdowns is sadistic, and it represents utter denial of science.
