Undercover Operation Snares Drug Dealer.

On Tuesday night an undercover police operation was organized out of Banglamung station at a housing authority estate in Laem Chabang after information was received regarding the activities of local drug dealers.

An undercover policeman rang the telephone number of an alleged dealer and, much like ordering a take-away pizza, the 29-year-old Thai man drove down to a pre-determined spot to supply a quantity of ya-ba tablets. When the dealer delivery man turned up he was immediately taken into custody by the waiting police and, after being taken back to Banglamung station, he was allegedly found in possession of 312 ya-ba tablets.

The man confessed to his illegal activities and said he has been operating as a drug dealer for the past year, and said his supplier is in Sakeo province, in the north-east of Thailand.

Why don't they get the big guys? This man will be replaced in ten minutes - just a poor guy trying to earn a scratch. Go for the main people rather than these little guys.
