Medical Certificate For Work Permit

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the best, fastest and cheapest place in Phuket (nearest to Surin Beach) to get a medical certificate for the purpose of applying for a work permit.

Much Thanks....

cant help with surin but they are all fast

mine was

hello, i need a medical

ok, are you healthy?

yes

ok, here certificate 100 baht please, write your name in space at top

what a joke. Most of the small clinics all offer them

Dr Cusak in Kata only charges me 80 baht. Not even see the doc, the lady at the counter has the forms already signed. Just hand over passport for name details. I seem to remember that a medical was not required last time I went to the Labour Office, or maybe that was the Immigration Office. I was annoyed I wasted 80 baht, but I'm sure if I had not turned up with that document, they would have wanted it...... :o

BTW, I would recommend Chusak also if you really need a doc. He is a nice guy, and I have only good experiences with him. Completely opposite to Titi in Chalong.

Can you tell me where Dr.Cusak is located.

much thanks

There's no need to go from Surin to Kata to see Dr. Chusak. Just go to the closest clinic you can find, pay your 100 Bt and you'll get your medical certificate. Easy peasy.

Dr Chusak is half way along Kata Village main street, just next door to the Anchor Bar. I agree with Sir Burr, just find the closest hole in the wall doctor's office.

Hi Friends!

A medical shouldn't be more than 50 Baht!

I use a shop in Samkhlong. Coming from Tesco it's on the right side about 500m before Vachira Hospital.

Same painless, fast procedure. Briliant.

my certificate consisted of walking into the clinic, sitting down, having my blood pressure taken (whilst the doctor was talking at the same time, mind you) and being asked 'are you healthy?'.

100thb. thankyouverymuchtheresyourcertificateoffyougo.
