If only they could get him to work from home all the time, and cut off all communication. It would be a small step in the right direction.

With his personality, it is likely he would not be offered more than 14,000 baht a month, as a circus clown. Since he is likely making 5,000 times that right now, he will stick his his current franchise.

I made and learned from most of my mistakes in the USA. OK, except for wife #3 (Thai in TH), miss judged that one, along with the prior 4 long term relationships in USA ... oops. #3 began & ended the quickest of all relationships. Kept me single for about 5 yrs after divorce, or having someone move in. Must have finally learned. Only after 8 yrs of living together, did we (present wife) even get married. Just for the hell of it, for when one of us dies. Added security for me, as she already owns everything. Wow, who would have thought, more time together before marriage, means longer marriage 🙄 8 yrs / 12 & counting (20+). Previous marriages, dating / married ... ... 2 yrs / < 2 yrs ... 2 yrs / 1 yrs ... 11 weeks / < 1 yr Just live together, no marriage, great sex, only reason together ... 3 ish yrs ... 3 ish yrs 34 ish yrs of relationships, leaves 20+ yrs of being single. Not a bad split of time in & out of relationships. Lucked out, as no real regrets. So, anyone need relationship advice, I'm batting 167

What's the investment rate in a business compared to Thailand still 60/40 in the "countries" ownership wise? Most SE Asian countries must have local owning more than than the foreigner in a company & Land ownership still lease or unfrustruct or allowed certain sized plot & it's yours freehold to build house? Had a vivid conversation last night with a group of about 10 expat friends at a relaxing restaurant down in Silom that ended up going all over the place. The group was mostly men, but a few women as well. Basically all people who live and work here and have some sort of busy lifestyle, as opposed to many foreigners living here who no longer work and end up staying home with their own comforts in some form of isolation. Not overnight, and not in some dramatic way, but gradually over time. Back home, things felt more fixed. People settled into a certain pattern — similar age, similar background, similar expectations.
