I asked the staff if I could retain my 42 y.o. photo for my new passport. She smiled at me pleasantly. Lots of damage between 42 and 52. I emailed the photo to a friend of mine in the States and asked him to gage her age. If that's appealing then I look to the face. All too often, though, I'm behind the lady and so can't see a face. No matter. As long as the body is right the rest isn't as important.
