I think that men in Asian cultures generally view male-female relationships more like a business relationship in the sense of weighing the benefits vs. costs. Practicality. I have been told by Thai, Korean, and Chinese women that western men are "so romantic" especially compared to asian men. Today, we, we as westerns do not need anybody anymore, because we are self sufficient in all areas, especially here in Thailand. We do not loose everything if we do not stay together. In their native lands they would been seen as dirty perverted predatory old men. How come a young man with an older woman is so controversial to you old farang with a young girl?
