leeedwards
Is it normal for immigration to require a neighbor come to immigration to confirm your id for first marriage non o. It happened to me yesterday at nonthaburi immigration. I also had to photocopy every single document I gave them, including 2 of the receipt. Is this also normal? ubonjoe
It varies from office to office. Some want a witness and others do a home visit instead of a witness, It is normal to need two TM7 forms and 2 sets of the supporting documents for the extension of stay based upon marriage since the application has to be approved at the division level of immigration,

Lite Beer
Yes. All normal for certain offices. As said, they all differ. We had to take a witness to the Samui Office 18 years ago. Edited January 20, 2022 by Lite Beer

Yes, however in OP case immigration want the witness to come to imm office. No wonder why many married guys opt for extensions retirement. I personally wouldn't sit well with witness to imm and home visit.
