Like what? If you don't watch some of the video you won't understand the topic.

 

One reason i posted this here is because i think that Thailand has a culture of shaming - there is very little universal lvoe. It is military culture where 'dressing down' is a common practice. One reason Thai's are so subdued is because this constant shaming in a class/caste system. Then sometimes they snap.

As a farang if you don't speak Thai they will shame you. If you don't follow their cultural norm's - shame. Buddhism would accept others and not pass judgment. But this is not norm in most of Thailand.

Shame is very much in western culture, Christianity is about following the rules, the 10 commandments. If you don't - you will be shamed. Jesus himself was crucified by a bunch of vigilantes because he was outsider.
